About This Event

Escape it all aboard Schooner Eastwind during a two-hour sail along the Maine coast experiencing the fresh salt sea air, beautiful islands, picturesque lighthouses, and any wildlife that decides to visit with us on the water.  Eastwind is a white-hulled schooner built by world circumnavigators Herb and Doris Smith, who also built five schooners named Appledore, and has sailed from Boothbay Harbor for over two decades. Eastwind is named after the United States Coast Guard icebreaker that Herb sailed on when making the Antarctic film "Seventy-Seven South".
